Description
HME has an opening in our Materials Support area for a Stockroom Clerk II. In this role you will be responsible for typical materials, inventory, and warehousing transactions performed and record and conduct physical cycle counts as directed, replenish stock, and put-away functions. Additionally, you will maintain records of materials in inventory and on order, assure accuracy of data entry into the inventory system in support of manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, and engineering operations. This fast-paced environment requires an organized individual with attention to detail who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is a great opportunity for someone who likes a challenge and something different every day. This is a first shift position working 7:30pm - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday).
What you will do in the position:
- Replenish material to production departments
- Accurately pick and label materials
- Performs cycle counts with assistance
- Participate in Lean initiatives
- Work as a member of the team
- Performs all other duties as assigned
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- A minimum of 2+ years of inventory control experience is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and ERP/MRP systems
- Familiar with MS Excel
- Experience working in a high volume environment
- Ability to accurately sort and compare part numbers to order lists
- Kit pulling and order fulfillment experience
- Strong follow up skills, high attention to detail and great verbal and written communication skills
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Overtime as needed
Pay Range: The starting pay rate for this position is $17.50 - $21.59 per hour. At HME you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while developing our future products.
