The Senior Product Line Manager will serve on the team that develops and executes the company’s product strategy and roadmap. This position is accountable for the success and profitability of HME's business and product line, ensuring the timely delivery of customer value. This is a strategic role with responsibilities in the coordination, development and launch of several products.

What you’ll do:

    • Manages according to HME Corporate Culture, standard operating procedures, performance objectives and applicable laws.
  • Manages a team of product managers/product owners/business analysts for a product line focused on overall product line success.
  • Manages the entire life-cycle of assigned product lines from cradle to grave with minimal supervision.
  • Researches and understands the market, technology, and competitive landscape to drive product roadmap.
  • Interacts with customers to identify market problems and gaps in current solutions.
  • Makes major decisions on product priorities.
  • Creates release strategy and initiative-level product requirements.
  • Creates the revenue models and pricing strategies for new products.
  • Manages the financial aspects of the product portfolio, including price, budgeting, forecasting and ROI.
  • Manages the direct product team and works with cross-functional product development team to build world-class user experiences, products, and solutions which add value to end-users, customers, and the company.
  • Leads the cross-functional team to ensure the schedule is executed and development meets project timelines/milestones, intended scope, and budget.
  • Interacts with partners to help to accelerate, cost-reduce, increase value of HME products.
  • Build relationships with clients, partners, other HME managers, and executives at HME.
  • Proactively evaluates and plans the introduction of new technologies for new products and/or to enhance existing products.
  • Performs all other job responsibilities as assigned.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with demonstrable increasing responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years people management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, MBA/MA/MS preferred.
  • Proven experience with ongoing and direct interaction with executive stakeholders.
  • A combination of Agile/Scrum, SaFe, and waterfall product development experience is a plus.
  • Certifications in SaFe, Product Owner, Product Management, Pragmatic or similar are a plus.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge and/or subject matter expertise for the applicable product line, which may include: wireless, embedded systems, cloud computing, data analytics, software/firmware, AI/ML, and SaaS.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, and self-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and build rapport with Engineering, Sales, other cross-functional teams, customers, partners, market luminaries, and other external parties.
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to schedule changes and re-prioritized responsibilities.
  • Able to autonomously operate at all levels of the company.
  • 30-40% travel.

Pay Range: $149,900.00 - $199,900.00 per annum. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
