Are you passionate about delivering critical technology solutions to federal agencies and supporting their mission? Are you self-organizing, motivated, and client focused? We are looking for a System Administrator in support of a highly visible project with scope including JWICS service provision to local and enterprise customer bases around the world.

The Systems Administrator will install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems. The Systems Administrator will work closely with network professionals and IT personnel to update cyber security measures, install hardware or software devices and troubleshoot problems. This position will ensure that the organizational systems align with mission goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert computer desktop administration support.
• Maintain the delivery of organizational and individual e-mail to the desktop, access to shared file and data storage, and capability to print from the standard desktop to network printers and centrally- managed web services and storage.
• Provide technical support to manage hardware and software installations.
• Perform configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Remove and replace components and peripherals to restore system operation.
• Install and configure software operating systems and applications.
• Provide service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems.
• Provide technical support to Service Desk Personnel and CSTs who provide administration support to their end-users workstations.
• Plan and organize sustainment activities.
• Establish work standards, methods, and controls for preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance actions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3-5 years experience as systems admin/CST
• Must have DoD Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility on Day 1
• Must have current CompTIA Sec+ CE
• Familiarization with servers, administration, patching, configuration
• Ability to problem solve and work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and good communication skills

Preferred

• Military experience
• Prior government contracting experience
• ITIL v3 or 4
• Microsoft or industry technology certifications such as MS 102 or CompTIA CySA
