What will you be doing?



The position is client-facing and requires a combination of three different skill sets:


Strong analytical skills, linking client business issues to analysis and the ability to mine analytical results for insights. Ability to craft a compelling story based on the analytical insights and good presentation skills are key requirements. Deliverables require excellent project management skills and attention to detail and follow up, as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple internal partners throughout the Circana organization. The Consultant will ensure high quality standards, timeliness and accuracy across project milestones are met. They will be heavily involved from project set up and work sessions to the final client presentation.


The position also requires strong client engagement skills and proactive business development to create value for our client, uncover opportunities and drive ad hoc sales to meet revenue targets. Areas of client interface include Consumer and Shopper Insights, Brand Management, Product Innovation, Category Management, Retail Sales and the Executive/Leadership team. Experience in Consumer & Shopper Insights via panel purchase behavior is required, experience in survey/segmentation, market structure and testing methodologies is a plus.


Finally, the position will require a comfort with learning a new technology platform across several different consumer and shopper solutions. The Consultant will be able to extract the required data for analyses and demo the solution to clients in sales presentations or insights presentations.



Job Responsibilities



  • You will both "own" your own client relationships as well as supporting other members of the team with analytics and deliverables. Owning relationships means starting with a discussion of client business issues, connecting the issues to a research plan/project framework, match the issues to a custom Circana consumer & shopper solution, write the proposals, work hands-on to execute the project and finally, delivering Insights that will have measurable client business impact.

  • You will serve as an expert within the consumer & shopper center of excellence, which means educating both clients and other team members on consumer & shopper metrics.

  • Create presentations on capabilities, insights, thought leadership, proposals, often working with others on the team to integrate multiple Circana solutions aligned to the business question.

  • Create a pipeline of ad hoc opportunities and manage revenue against annual targets.

  • Develop a client engagement plan to penetrate the client organization, create value and deliver growth




Requirements



  • 4+ years of experience with consumer and shopper data

  • Experience must be within one or more of the following types of companies:


    • Quantitative market research supplier

    • A top tier consulting company

    • CPG Insights and Analytics or Brand Management track


  • Comfortable with Data Visualization

  • The poise and presence to present to multiple business functions and levels of leadership with relevance and credibility

  • Excellent project management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently leveraging local and remote resources

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Skilled at presenting technical subject matter to non-technical audiences

  • Experience with Powerpoint and storytelling

  • A four-year undergraduate degree is strongly preferred

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $64,000.00 to $105,000.00.
