Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of retention and growth-driving features for our innovative UGC platform. This role is pivotal in expanding our user base and fostering long-term engagement through data-driven insights, deep user understanding, and strategic roadmap management. Ideally you'll possess a blend of gaming and product feature writing experience, with a keen focus on community building and user-generated content.

Hybrid Policy:

This role is hybrid on-site located in Los Altos, CA. We work on-site Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Exceptional circumstances may allow more flexibility but our preference is to see everyone every week.

Responsibilities:

This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer, and you'll work closely with a small team of other product managers. The role will focus on three pillars:

Product Management:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for new features.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify user trends, preferences, and opportunities for growth.
  • Employ user experience research (UXR) methodologies to gather user insights and inform product development.
  • Position our platform as a leading UGC destination, comparable to industry benchmarks like Roblox, Fortnite, and Rec Room.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance user creativity, engagement, and content creation.
  • Leverage data effectively to inform product decisions while maintaining robust privacy safeguards.

Retention & Growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase user acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through market analysis and competitive intelligence.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support product launches and campaigns.

Technical and Production:
  • Partner with the engineering and creative teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
  • Participate actively in the production process to guarantee timely and high-quality feature launches.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential application within the product.
  • Utilize AI models and machine learning to enhance the user experience and drive product innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in product management with a focus on user-centric product development. Ideally with 5+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience in the game industry.
  • Deep understanding of the UGC landscape and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field would be ideal.

Benefits:

The base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000 USD per year. Actual pay is based on location and may vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include salary, company bonuses, sign-on bonuses, relocation package, and other benefits such as: unlimited vacation, equity, and healthcare.
