Join Verigent as an HR Onboarding Specialist and become an integral part of our experienced and tight-knit team. In this role, you'll oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they complete all necessary paperwork, training, and compliance tasks. You'll track onboarding progress, manage E-Verify and I-9 verifications, and handle payroll data entry. Primary responsibilities include: • Send onboarding paperwork, training instructions, and compliance checks to new hires. • Monitor and report on the completion status of employee onboarding tasks. • Use company communication tools to reach out to new hires via phone, email, and text to ensure they complete all required onboarding tasks before their start date. • Conduct video calls with new hires to verify employee identification for I-9 compliance. • Assist with the E-Verify process to confirm new hires' eligibility to work in the U.S. • Ensure new employees are properly set up in the payroll system (ADP) and assist in educating them about the payroll process. • Collect timesheets from employees, verify their accuracy, and address any discrepancies.
Required Skills: • Minimum of a 2-year associate's degree or equivalent experience • Effective and clear communication • Previous office, administrative or clerical experience in a professional environment • Must be highly organized, efficient, self-directed and process oriented
