The Quotations Specialist reports directly to the Quotations Lead and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of requests for quotes to suppliers (RFQ).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Examine, review and evaluates cost data for accuracy, price competitiveness, and supply. • Familiar with a variety of supplier commodities, electronics, sheet metal, packaging, PCBs. • Examines pricing and compiles finished quotes to include labor, material, test, overhead and logistics. • Performs a variety of complex tasks working with Suppliers, SQE, Supply Chain, Program Managers, etc.
Qualifications Required/Job Specifications:
Must have a minimum of (5) five years of experience in EMS, (Electronic Manufacturing Services), Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics Environment.
Possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers and suppliers.
Must understand complex pricing negotiations.
Must be self-directed, dependable, and motivated with excellent relationship and time management skills.
ERP experience (Preferably SAP)
Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
