Key Focus: SAP R2R, FICO modules, financial systems
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned SAP R2R Solution Designer with strong expertise in SAP FICO modules to support and enhance SAP ecosystems. In this role, you will provide functional and technical expertise to evaluate, modify, and implement enterprise-wide financial systems. You will lead SAP-related projects, ensure SOX compliance, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for SAP R2R modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank Accounting, FSCM (Treasury), and related interfaces to banking and other systems.
Manage ABAP developments (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms) as needed.
Lead go-live activities for projects and provide post-implementation support.
Drive ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and governance in SAP ecosystems, ensuring risk mitigation and audit compliance.
Respond to internal/external audit requests, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
Develop and update queries and SQL extracts to support business users.
Train and mentor colleagues with less experience in SAP systems.
Design and implement scalable SAP solutions that meet current and future business needs.
Lead functional teams or projects as a subject matter expert.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of experience in ERP systems, including 2+ years in a lead role. OR
Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience in ERP systems, including 2+ years in a lead role. OR
14 years of experience in ERP systems, including 2+ years in a lead role.
Desired Skills
Extensive hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI/CO, particularly GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank Accounting, FSCM (Treasury), CCA, PCA, COPA, and Material Ledger modules.
Experience with SAP S4 Hana and full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Knowledge of GAAP/FCC/IFRS accounting, with expertise in intercompany transactions, eliminations, and financial consolidations.
Proficient in banking interfaces and processes like EBS, ACH, WIRE, cash applications, and credit card transactions.
Experience with Project Settlement to Fixed Assets and designing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience with S/4 New GL and knowledge of new SAP functionalities.
Proven track record in leading Finance/Accounting teams and aligning system specifications with business requirements.
Extensive experience in SAP Group Reporting, fixed assets, and project system processes.
