Job Title: Senior Product Developer- HOKA Apparel and Accessories

Reports to: Director of Development, HOKA Apparel and Accessories

Location: Portland, OR - Office-Hybrid

The Role

The Senior Product Developer, HOKA Apparel, manages the product creation process from Ideation, through to commercialization and ensures product is Ready to Buy in all aspects within seasonal timelines. They are a trusted partner within the triad, that openly shares industry experience and provides mentorship within the development, fit and materials team. This person will inspire the team to obsess product in order to meet the needs of our athletes and consumers.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:


  • Problem-solve design tech packages prior to hand-off for potential construction, material, fit & wear or cost concerns.

  • Manage the product creation process from brief stage and design through final prototyping, sales samples to ensure styles are Ready to Buy.

  • Provide PLMs/product design with alternatives in constructions, materials, costing, duties, etc.

  • Leads proto reviews with the product creation and development teams with focus on construction, materials, pricing, yield & cost analysis, manufacturing processes and end use performance.

  • Works with Wear Testing team to execute samples and evaluate athlete and/or consumer testing feedback.

  • Ensures product will meet our Performance Testing standards prior to production.

  • Co Create product with development team and/or factory partners overseas.

Who You Are

You are passionate about Performance Technical Apparel, obsessing construction and execution to create best in class product for our athletes and consumers.

We'd love to hear from people with


  • 8-10+ years of experience in Technical Performance Apparel Development.

  • Proven experience to manage development process from Ideation through to Production.

  • Experience in large scale technical performance apparel companies and small start up environments.

  • Effective communication skills necessary.

  • Strong analytics, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
