Automation Developers have the responsibility for delivering the automated processes under the supervision of experienced and accredited automation developers. The first year of this role is to stand up the function, which includes establishing the competencies of the function and partnering with the operational departments to develop automations. The continuing functions of this role will include exploration and implementation of new RPA opportunities within Partners Corporate, assisting in the development of use cases for Class 2 and Class 3 automations, and general maintenance of the existing automations.
Designing Blue Prism process solutions in accordance with standard PHS design principles and conventions
Configuring new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
Creating and maintaining process design documentation (PDD) and solution design documentation (SDD)
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
Identifying and communicating technical infrastructure requirements to support automations
Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of Blue Prism processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
Mentoring colleagues through the Blue Prism training and accreditation program - providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques
Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process
Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
Supporting the Operational Teams during UAT and rollout phases
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the successful delivery and support of Excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuration/scripting type technology
Understanding of Microsoft technologies including .NET and reporting solutions
A working knowledge of current business processes and the ability to understand new business processes
Experience with end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes
