The Role



We are seeking a Operational Technology (OT) Implementation Engineer who will be responsible for the deployment and successful validation of PMS Facility Management Systems. This role will oversee, evaluate, and install equipment and systems used in the deployment of products and will ensure safety, quality, and purity requirements are met. Once trained, the ideal candidate will be working at clients across the US.



Specific Job Responsibilities:



  • Organize and manage multiple simultaneous project plans.

  • Update project dashboards highlighting key project activities, outstanding issues, etc.

  • Manage assigned projects within designated scope and budgetary requirements

  • Provide at least weekly reporting to customers and key stakeholders.

  • Appropriately escalate critical issues to the project management team for review and approval.

  • Act as the first line of escalation for less experienced team members.

  • Analyze risks and recommend risk mitigation actions to the project management team.

  • Resolve any conflicts and tactical escalations as the need arises through an appropriate channel.

  • Apprise respective Plant Management team about project progress on a regular basis.




Qualifications:



  • Experience implementing Automation Projects in a highly regulated environment.

  • Experience executing implementation project plans.

  • Experience with GMP, GAMP, FDA, Annex1, etc. and other applicable regulations.

  • Ability to read and utilize process diagrams, SCADA block diagrams and control schematics to implement automated monitoring/control systems.

  • Able to understand, utilize and troubleshoot industrial protocols like Modbus, Ethernet IP and OPC UA

  • Highly experienced with customer management and communications skills within a production environment

  • Able to effectively work independently and collaboratively with customers and colleagues.

  • Able to effectively transfer knowledge and train less experienced team members, colleagues, and customers.

  • Highly experienced with automation technology implementations

  • Minimum 6 years relevant industry experience

  • Bachelor's degree in an industry relevant engineering or science discipline required or 10+ years of direct industry experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Location - The ideal candidate for this position would be in the East Coast of the United States



Travel - This position requires travel 60% of the time.

Pay Range



$67000 - 104000 depending upon experience



How we determine what we pay (compensation philosophy)



Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.


For new hires, we to make competitive offers between the minimum and around the midpoint of the range. This allows the new employee room for future merit increases during review cycles. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and the compensation rates of the employees within the company doing the same position.
