Job Description:

Our Staffing Specialist position is perfect for a building your career in our sales, recruiting or operations teams.

The successful candidate will have leadership and recruiting experience, be able to establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers quickly, have a passion for recruiting and the desire to be successful.

This position will play an integral role in helping to meet the demands of our client staffing needs in the local area.

This temp-hire role is based in our local office and cannot work remotely.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit candidates using internal databases, community outreach and other networking for local client needs
  • Complete payroll process, I9 documentation and any other internal hiring requirements for temporary staff at client locations
  • Ensure quality of approved candidates for hiring teams and prep them for their interview experience
  • Understand profiles required to provide successful candidates to clients
  • Approve or dismiss candidates following the screening and prep the approved candidates to be successful for the client interview.
  • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics with creative and proactive ideas to drive results
  • Interact, correspond, and maintain effective communication with Clients, candidates and client via email, phone and in person meetings
  • Follow up and drive conversion of candidates in pipeline response within 24 hours of application
  • Meet all required compliance reports weekly
  • Drive to client location for 1st day check in or client meetings as required
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to complete work on a daily/weekly basis

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years in Recruiting or HR is required
  • Experience managing hourly staff is required
  • 2+ years in hospitality, admin support or customer service role
  • Strong office admin skills (outlook, MS office suite) required
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purpose
  • Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
  • Creative idea generator
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish is required
