The Sourcing Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term partnerships and ensure quality and reliability of supplies.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, pricing, and potential new suppliers.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities and supplier performance.
Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve procurement efficiency.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and market volatility.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on sourcing and supplier management.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Bilingual in Spanish & English
