RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Delray Beach, FL.

Summary:
As an Infrastructure Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing an organization's network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security, with a focus on ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of the network environment. You will work closely with other IT teams, including security, systems, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:

• Infrastructure Engineer will design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure network architectures that meet business requirements


• Implement and configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and other network devices


• Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures

Network Maintenance and Optimization:

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network operations to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency


• As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will perform regular network maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades of network hardware and software


• Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to identify potential bottlenecks and recommend improvements

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs


• Ensure the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements


• Conduct regular security assessments and audits

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Science, Geography or Cartography, or equivalent


• Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
