Position Overview:
ANSER is actively hiring for a Nuclear Forensics Analyst. In this role you will provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Nuclear Matters (NM).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new concepts of operation (CONOPs) for the National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) Ground Collection Task Force (GCTF) mission both domestic and international.
• Support the government as they provide policy, oversight, and guidance of DoD NTNF exercises spanning collection, analysis, and evaluation of nuclear forensics evidentiary samples.
• Interact with interagency, in particular the Department of Energy, Department of State, the FBI, and the Intelligence Community to facilitate integration of DoD's capabilities into a coherent US government capability that spans all elements of the NTNF attribution communities.
• Engage across the Department of Defense service components and Combatant Commands to support NTNF mission execution.
• Review documents, contribute to studies or task forces, prepare papers and briefings, attend/participate in meetings within/across the Department, across the interagency and other branches of government and/or with academia and industry.
• Prepare and disseminate agenda, meeting materials and meeting summaries. Reserve meeting space, ensure attendee access, and other administrative aspects.

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and seven years direct experience related to nuclear forensics or CBRN technical expertise. Additional work experience may be considered as a substitute for the requisite degree.
• Experience with DoD exercises.
• Experience with the development of DoD Concepts of Operation.
• Experience staffing or advising DoD senior leaders on matters of national security.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• Direct in-depth knowledge and experience with NTNF GCTF and CBRN operations, organization, functions, and planning with Interagency partners and at the COCOM level.
• Experience engaging with international partners and agencies, including negotiations.
