Our Property Management client is hiring a temporary Accounting Assistant to partner with the Accounting Manager to cover a 6 month leave of absence. A typical day will look like:
Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable including vendor setup, entering invoices, preparing check runs and processing month and year-end duties
Responsible for coding all credit card transactions, collecting receipts, and reconciling credit card statements
Handle monthly payroll duties including auditing timecards, uploading to payroll partner and ensuring all employee files are accurate
Reconcile vendor statements to the AP accounts in the General Ledger
Additional duties as necessary
To be qualified for this position you bring:
Ability to work onsite in downtown Portland
1+ years of accounts payable processing experience
A Bachelors degree in Accounting is preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Wonderful customer service and personality
Compensation is DOE but $26-29hr, assignment duration should last 6 months.
