About the Role:

As a Developer Support Intern at Dow Jones, you will assist customers in building applications that leverage our APIs and services. In this role, you'll learn to represent Dow Jones by helping manage and resolve complex technical issues for developers integrating with our platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced Developer Support Executives, learning essential skills for a career in technical and development support

You Will:
  • Serve as an advocate for developers using Dow Jones APIs, ensuring that our platform meets their needs.
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy and clarity of our technical documentation to streamline developer integration.
  • Help in developing and testing the Dow Jones platform to enhance customer experiences.
  • Develop relevant sample code to support developers.
  • Contribute to managing and updating the Dow Jones Support site to improve accessibility and usability of resources for developers.


This role is hybrid, based in our Princeton office.

You Have:
  • Completed at least two years of school towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Understanding of Web services (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML)
  • Networking or communication protocol knowledge
  • High-level understanding of how to troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to a customer's network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of networking or communication protocols including HTTP, FTP, and other common protocols
  • Customer Focus and the ability to explain complex products and technical issues at a level appropriate to the audience.

Salary: $25.00/hour
