Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Dynamic Team as a Product Development Coordinator!
Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for the fashion industry? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join our growing team as a Product Development Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the end-to-end sampling process, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the timely and accurate representation of our product assortment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ordering and management of sample yardage, from greige to color, to support the color sampling process within our PLM system.

  • Process vendor and supplier invoices for all sample yardage and sample-making costs.

  • Maintain ownership of all sampling-related needs for your designated product categories, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of garment samples.

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Development, Raw Materials, Print and Color, Marketing, and Merchandising, to ensure seamless communication and adherence to brand calendars.

  • Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to stay informed about product assortment, business priorities, and represent sampling-related topics.

  • Maintain seasonal sample yardage cost and readiness reporting, providing insights to leadership and the broader business.

  • Support the development of leadership dashboards and provide headline metrics ahead of key milestone meetings.

  • Continuously observe business processes, anticipate potential needs, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prioritize your workload based on business needs and requirements, managing competing deliverables and priorities effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in product development or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and result-driven communication skills with business partners.

  • Basic fabric knowledge or experience is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle, especially in a retail setting.

  • Highly organized, with strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic knowledge of PLM systems, with Centric experience being a plus.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently, as well as being a team player.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
