Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Regional Sales & Marketing Manager to provide sales leadership for assigned communities. Responsibilities include coaching and onsite training of community staff, recommending and analyzing sales and marketing strategies, and implementing sales standards and processes to support increased occupancy and revenue growth.
This Regional Sales and Marketing Manager role can be based remotely or out of the Home Office in Aberdeen, SD, with frequent travel to Primrose Communities. This Regional Role is expected to primarily cover Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Provide Coaching and Training
Lead, direct, and support community Sales Directors daily through regular coaching calls, site visits, and thorough follow up.
Advise and continue to sharpen the skill sets of the Sales Directors.
Coach sales systems with a specific focus on income-producing activities, identifying sales strengths and areas of opportunity.
Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of Sales Directors.
Assist Executive Director and Regional Operations Manager in implementing accountability systems to measure staff performance and results related to sales and marketing.
Provide regular updates and communication to Executive Directors, Sales Directors, and Home Office on the progress of sales and marketing efforts.
Assist in designing, writing, implementing, and evaluating sales and marketing training as well as manage and organize company-wide learning opportunities.
Provide a motivational boost the community team needs to adapt to a 100% occupancy mindset and sales-centered culture.
Analyze Marketing and Sales Strategies
Work in conjunction with Director and Operations to support the company in its efforts to achieve business goals.
Assist with strategy development and ensure sales and marketing strategies are being executed successfully.
Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Assist with setting monthly quotas and benchmarks.
Create and oversee sales and marketing budgets.
Assist with public relations efforts, advertising placements.
Assist with prospect and referral events such as grand openings.
Monitor the database management system to measure conversion ratios related to inquiry/referral, visits, deposits, move-ins, move-outs, etc. and evaluate current and potential sales growth.
Analyze marketplace demands and competitors to support effective positioning of communities.
Assist with market research activities like secret shops, surveys, focus groups, etc.
Foster relationships with current residents, prospective residents, family members, and referral sources to ensure positive customer relations.
Participate in the development and implementation of new services/programs including design, packaging, pricing, promotion, etc.

The Successful Candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
Preferred 5 years sales and marketing experience
Previous senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred
Experience building, coaching, developing, and leading sales teams capable of carrying out needed sales and marketing initiatives
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and timelines
Strong computer, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and team player
High energy with a passion for results and a solution orientation
Able and willing to work flexible hours.
Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
