Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Deposit Operations Support Specialist located in Columbus, IN.

The Deposit Operations Support Specialist provides administrative support to the Retail Team Members and other lines of business regarding all deposit products, services, procedures, and processes.  This position is responsible for monitoring, correcting, communicating, and following up on quality control aspects of Branch Operations with the Retail Team Members and other lines of business. This position will assist the Director of Deposit Operations with procedure and process improvements. 

The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $20.71 per hour.

Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.            

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.


  • Administers and manages various quality control and assurance reviews and delivers the results to the Retail Team Members.

  • Communicates, facilitates and manages responses to Team Member’s questions or identifies areas of needed education through a variety of communication tools such as email, intranet communications, training, team meetings, etc.

  • Administers centralized tasks as assigned such as membership qualification approval, garnishment and levy administration, legal and business document review, and data clean up.

  • Identifies and assists in the development and rollout of process improvements.

  • Conducts assigned testing for new products, services and upgrades.  Identifies issues and escalates them through the appropriate channels in a timely manner.  Follows up with additional results and findings.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):


  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
