Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a full-time Data Center Server Admin/Engineer to support our enterprise technology client in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Expert Level Support on IDRAC, CMC, NIC, HBA connection issues and Server Hardware Troubleshooting


• Develop Intermediate Level Support for OS troubleshooting on Linux, Windows, ESX (mainly from Onsite perspective)


• Work and close Service INC and TASK


• Contact Business Partners (DBA, APP, Storage, Network, OS Teams) to schedule downtime


• Hardware Replacements and Upgrades


• BIOS and Firmware Upgrades


• Escalate and Open Support Cases with ProSupport


• Put HOST in and out of Maintenance Mode


• Monthly DataCenter Walkthrough


• Provide Smart Hands for Remote SEs


• Be available for data center on-call support

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience


• Parts/LOIS Management


• Quarterly Parts Locker Inventory

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
