Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Planning Manager to oversee the development and implementation of our supply chain strategies for a 12 month project with Takeda. This role is critical for ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate demand forecasting, and effective production planning. The ideal candidate will analyze supply chain data, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and optimize resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory management and production planning
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecasts, and areas for improvement
Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to coordinate demand and supply, ensuring alignment on production schedules
Monitor and adjust inventory levels to maintain balance between supply and demand, minimizing excess and shortages
Optimize resource allocation and utilization across the supply chain to enhance efficiency
Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices within the supply chain
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance metrics to senior management
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain operations
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred years of experience in supply chain management, planning, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools; experience with [specific software if applicable] is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
