What does the Senior Manager, Digital Shelf do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Senior Manager, Digital Shelf is responsible for advising eCommerce Retailers how to improve their online Beverage Shopping experience and eCommerce Beverage Businesses overall. This individual will translate specialized and technical data into clear, actionable insights and commercial opportunities. Focused on delivering a best-in-class presentation of Swire Coca-Cola products to eCommerce retailers, you will increase our share of the Digital Shelf and eCommerce sales and improve the online shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary eCommerce and digital shelf advisor for local and national customer teams to increase the volume of digital trips to online storefronts, increasing the eCommerce and in-store sales
  • Develop digital shelf best practices from internal and external sources that can be adapted to local Customers' online stores; sell those changes with internal and external teams to drive margin accretive sales and share growth
  • Monitor digital shelf of Customers to identify content gaps and search ranking opportunities for improved eCommerce sales and market share
  • Ensure all products have Best-In-Class Conversion-Driving visual and written content, meet critical thresholds for ratings and reviews, driving both online and offline Sales
  • Optimize assortment and placement on the Digital Shelf to improve revenue, share, and profitability by partnering with internal and external teams across bottling network, and ensure the most compelling SKUs for digital trips are available on Customers' sites
  • Collaborate with internal sales and category management teams to advise customers on Best-In-Class onsite merchandising to drive incremental online sales
  • Design solutions initiatives with Sales and Logistics teams to ensure eCommerce orders are fulfilled efficiently, profitably, and that product availability is optimized to increase sales by reducing out-of-stocks
  • Lead regular online and offline sales-lift assessments of Paid and unpaid/Organic investments to maximize our digital marketing investments
  • Build, update, and advise on digital shelf best practices playbooks to increase both retailer and bottler eCommerce beverage trips and sales
  • Lead Swire's regular opportunity sizing for Retail.com Incremental Sales and forecast trip-shifting and eCommerce growth by Customer to inform annual planning and sales forecasting routines to ensure we are maximizing the sales and margin impact of our eCommerce initiatives and investments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, Economics required
  • Master's Degree or 5 years progressive work experience in one of those fields preferred
  • 4+ years Sales or Category Management experience as Agency/Supplier and/or Client side required
  • 4+ years selling into eCommerce or Omnichannel Retailer
  • Experience translating technical and obscure information into clear language and simply explain associated commercial implications
