Role Description:

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team at Enduro Composites located in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role. This team member will be responsible for process improvement, LEAN implementation, machine, and fixture design.

Responsibilities also include overseeing the maintenance department that maintain and repair equipment ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Your role will also involve developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred). Minimum 5-10 years' experience with manufacturing processes with proven implementation history in a manufacturing environment -OR- 10 years industrial experience with 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with the following systems or software: Vault, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced PLC troubleshooting/programming required
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, facilities, budgeting, and resource management
  • Advanced understanding of hydraulics, compressed air, regulatory and safety standards.
  • Must possess effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects of various magnitudes simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards
  • Experience composite or plastic processes including lamination, BM injection molding, Pultrusion and hand lay-up work experience preferred, but not required.

While performing some job-related duties, the employee will work near moving mechanical parts; will be exposed to airborne particles and fumes; extreme heat and cold. All safety precautions must be observed. Noise level in some areas is moderate and Hearing Protection will be necessary in areas where protection is deemed mandatory.
