Elsdon Energy have partnered with one of the worlds' largest engineering companies. They operate in numerous sectors globally, such as, oil and gas and renewables.
They are currently looking to add a Project Director to the team in Austin. This role will focus on hydrogen projects country wide. Overseeing projects from feasibility to project delivery.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Leading hydrogen projects from initiation up to handover to the execution team
Ensuring top performance in all areas of the project
Manage and develop all aspects of the project
Steer development of the project, keeping the wider team focussed
Establish effective management process, systems and tools
Engage internal and external teams and partners
They are looking for applicants to have the following experience:
Degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
Minimum of ten years of experience in engineering, developing large greenfield process plants
Experience throughout plc
Significant experience in cost control, budgeting and procurement
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore
Engineer license and PMP certification
Ability to manage multiple ongoing activities and be flexible
Travel around 20%, including overnight stays
