As a Lead Flight Software Engineer, you'll help lead the flight software team (4 other engineers) and own the development and architecture of critical flight software and systems.
Lead Flight Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Develop flight software for inflight computers and other critical spacecraft hardware.
Collaborate with the Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions
Lead and manage the Flight Software team plus provide technical guidance.
Hire new engineers to grow the team
Configure RTOS, Microprocesses, and Linux Kernels/Drivers
Design and execute full software test cases
Lead Flight Software Engineer Requirements:
Experience coding in C++ and Linux environments (or relevant experience)
Knowledge of hardware datasheets and schematics
Tools: Git, Make, and GNU tools
Related degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines
