Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Stack Engineer to a dynamic & high performing team, to support the design, development, and optimization of SOFC stacks.
Key Responsibilities: SOFC Stack Engineer
Design and develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks, focusing on performance, durability, and manufacturability.
Conduct detailed modeling and simulation of SOFC stacks to optimize performance and efficiency.
Perform testing and characterization of SOFC stacks, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including materials scientists, system engineers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate SOFC stacks into complete fuel cell systems.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of stack performance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SOFC technology and incorporate relevant innovations into the design process.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications: SOFC Stack Engineer
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
Proven experience in the design and development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks.
Strong understanding of electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to SOFC technology.
Proficiency in modeling and simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS) for fuel cell applications.
Hands-on experience with testing and characterization techniques for fuel cells.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
