Our client's dedicated Electrical Engineering team specializes in the design of power systems for a diverse range of industrial settings, including ethanol production, specialty chemicals, grain processing, and feed mills. They are at the forefront of developing sustainable green energy solutions, particularly solar power, to support the renewable energy initiatives of their municipal and industrial clients. Their analytical expertise encompasses comprehensive services for both new and existing power systems, such as load flow studies, short circuit analysis, arc flash risk assessments, and power factor correction strategies.
Role Overview: As a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer, you will:
Deliver engineering services of exceptional quality.
Contribute to the creation of top-tier construction documentation, including detailed calculations, precise drawings, and thorough specifications.
Conduct site observations during the construction phase, generating comprehensive reports as necessary (with potential travel up to 5% to various job sites).
Utilize specialized software efficiently to execute engineering designs.
Manage your time effectively, aligning with project budgets and timelines.
Facilitate communication with clients and contractors, addressing RFIs and field inquiries as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, focusing on design and construction, or a valid P.E. license.
Proficiency in conducting electrical system studies, with experience in tools like SKM or ETAP.
Skilled in using engineering software such as Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Experience in PV design is highly desirable.
