Quality Test Engineer

Team: This Quality Engineer role is a great opportunity to impact the business through engagement and teamwork at Caterpillar Electric Power. 20% office (desk and typing in what you have learned from the shop floor) vs 80% shop floor (where they build the product and talk to the engineers, shop managers). This group works within switch gear and about 80% is electrical.
This person will review organizations processes for continuous improvement, and ensure customer is receiving a defect free product safely, timely and efficiently. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Top Skills:
3+ years of exp working with suppliers
Person that has electrical background since they work with a ton of switch gear.
Reads Blueprint/schematics.
Documentation of processes.
Perform process/ internal audits.
Responsible for promptly responding to internal quality, as delivered quality, and supplier quality issues reported by the customer.
Efficient in Excel spreadsheets. (pivot tables)
Soft Skills:
Communication with team and leadership
Time Management Skills
Interview Process: 1 Round Video on Teams , Would prefer to bring them onsite for 2nd round if they are local.
Education: Bachelors Degree is desired but not a must as long as the person has the Exp.
