Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Bachelors degree in quantitative field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent)
5+ years of relevant industry experience in areas such as data modelling and engineering, warehousing and building ETL pipelines, data visualization, and statistical analysis
Knowledge of and direct experience with AWS technologies and big data analytics tools (EMR, Athena)
Experience with information retrieval, data science, data mining, and using test/control methodology and machine learning techniques
Knowledge in writing and optimizing SQL to handle extremely large datasets
Working knowledge in scripting with R/Python for statistical analysis
Experience in theory and practice of Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with creating end-to-end dashboard solutions (i.e. with Tableau or similar BI tools) and reports that effectively convey insights to a wide range of users
Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end projects and articulate business impact to stakeholders
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in quantitative field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent)
8+ years of relevant industry experience in a Business Intelligence Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analyst role
Strong familiarity with AWS technologies and big data analytics tools (EMR, Athena)
Advanced knowledge in scripting with R/Python for statistical analysis
Deep understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and building advanced visualizations
Ability to deal with high ambiguity in a fast-paced business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Experience with financial analytics and understanding of project payback models in a business context.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with business leadership and technical teams
Salary Range: $90K - $140K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Location: local to is North Reading or Westborough, MA is preferred. Role can be supported remotely.
