ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to assist our premier Robotics client's Global Procurement Team in placing and managing orders for material required to deploy robotic fulfillment centers. This will include working with the global supply base to ensure orders are placed, expedited, tracked, and invoiced correctly.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the recurring cadence of placing PO's
Research invoice issues for shipping/receiving.
Attend meetings
Maintain supplier/vendor communications
Utilize MS-Excel for weekly and monthly reporting
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, with 2+ years of experience.
Experience in PO placement/management
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong vendor/supplier communication skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).
An understanding of data management and databases is also a plus.
Able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.
