We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Roseville, CA. In this role, you will provide essential support for workstations, software, network devices, phones, information systems, and video conferencing equipment for both on-site and remote employees. You will resolve technical issues, manage upgrades, and assist with user installations.
Responsibilities:
Act as a contact for vendor software like iVOS Claims Management and Office 365
Provide support for computer hardware and software issues
Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth operation of information systems
Maintain and troubleshoot networks, including Microsoft Active Directory, file servers, and Windows 10 workstations
Monitor the help desk and respond to technical issues promptly, maintaining logs and records
Deliver excellent customer service and train employees on effective use of hardware and software
Maintain network security and provide general hardware repair
Interact with end users to resolve problems and perform other related duties as required
Install, configure, and maintain new and existing PCs
Requirements:
Proficient in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, network devices, and Office 365
Strong understanding of computer systems architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting methodologies
Minimum of three years of experience providing helpdesk support in a computer operations environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical terms into simple language
