Located in Roseville, CA, Adventist Health is looking for an EpicCare Inpatient Certified Systems Analyst III to join our IT team and support the optimization of our Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.
Job Summary
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the EpicCare Inpatient module to ensure effective clinical workflows and patient care delivery. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT teams, and stakeholders to configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Epic Inpatient system to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
Configure and maintain the EpicCare Inpatient module to support clinical workflows and patient care.
Collaborate with clinical staff to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EpicCare Inpatient system, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
Perform regular system updates and upgrades, ensuring compliance with Epic standards and healthcare regulations.
Provide end-user support and training to clinicians, nurses, and other hospital staff.
Document system configurations, workflows, and changes.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and usability.
Required Qualifications:
EpicCare Inpatient Certification (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a systems analyst working with Epic EHR systems, specifically the Inpatient module.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing end-user support.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
