IT System Administrator
The Systems Administrator will have total oversight responsibility of all company Linux or Microsoft based systems. The current environment includes a mix of Redhat and Windows based servers all interconnected over various geographically diverse locations.
Responsibilities:
Plays key role in designing, implementing and maintaining a high availability environment over WAN topology taking redundancy, performance, scalability and cost factors into account
Support Redhat and Windows based servers in both Physical and Virtual environments
Administration of SNMP network monitoring platform
Responsible for ensuring business needs and requirements are matched appropriately with application
Builds various scenarios and evaluates results; directs product scripted and automated testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
Balance work load to meet goals in the time allotted
Integrate new technologies as business evolves
Key member of team, responsible for providing design recommendations and cost analyses
Provide 24x7 on-call support in a rotation
Proven communication and organizational skills required

Qualifications:
5+ years' experience with the design, implementation and maintenance of Redhat Servers
5+ years' experience with the design, implementation and maintenance of Windows Servers
5+ years' experience in a virtualized environment, AWS experience a plus
Experience with DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Administration
Experience with endpoint anti-virus solutions
Experience with Office 365
Experience with Single Sign on Solutions
Provide 24x7 on-call support in a rotation
Critical Competencies for Success
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred
