The System Architect Manager is responsible for infrastructure Architecture, managing a team of System Admins and Storage Engineers, virtualization, recovery planning, testing, etc.
Job Summary
Serves the organization, patients, and other customers by providing a wide range of computer related technical services. As a member of the Technical Services Team, the position is responsible for architecture and the management of organizational infrastructure within the server and storage environment. Provides management oversight and mentorship to system administrators and storage engineers responsible for maintaining the server and storage systems infrastructure, system security, patching, and disaster recovery systems. Leads and conducts research on emerging technologies and recommends technologies that increase infrastructure flexibility and resiliency. Knowledge of managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting leading system software hardware from vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, EMC, Dell, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard. Strong knowledge of the virtualization and storage technologies a must. Leads disaster recovery planning and testing for highly available infrastructure. Experience with managing projects preferred.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology Management or related field required.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 years related management experience required or 4 years as senior level analyst. At least 4 years of previous healthcare information systems experience required
