Master Planner/Scheduler needed --- Location: Marietta, GA
GeoLogics is partnering with an Aerospace and Defense Company on an exciting Master Planner opportunity in Marietta, GA. This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations.
Position: Master Planner
Location: Onsite in Marietta, GA
Pay: $85.00 - $130.00 per hour (DOE--w2 non-benefited)
Contract thru 10/2025 (with probable extension)
Due to the nature of work performed in this facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
Candidate will have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
Develop and refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 9 years of Program Planning and Scheduling experience (7 years with a master's)
Experience with Critical Path
Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
Cradle to grave project schedule creation experience required (created new schedule from SOW to completion)
Must have experience with Microsoft Project
Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
Experience in schedule control processes, internal & external audits, and project management integration
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
