**The position is contingent on contract award expected Summer/Fall of 2024**
The Contractor shall support the Chief Systems Engineer/Assistant Program Manager Engineering, subordinate Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineers (APMSEs) or Division/Branch Heads and their subordinates by providing multi-discipline research and development, integrated technical baseline development and evaluation, engineering assessment of the programs' progress towards demonstrating and confirming completion of required developmental tasks and confidence that the technical baseline is mature enough for the next stage of development.
Systems engineering support will include an overall technical assessment of cost, schedule, emerging technology, and maturity of design in support of the acquisition programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified program or project team.
Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.
Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.
Tracks configuration changes.
Coordinates and supports development of ECPs.
Supports program milestone briefings as they pertain to configuration management.
Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management
Education/Experience:
Education: Position requires a Business, Technical, or Scientific BA or BS degree. ALLOWABLE
SUBSTITUTION: Four (4) years of recent and relevant experience related to the labor category
description and an AS or AA may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of two (2) years to meet the "Experience" requirements below, requiring a total of six (6) years of experience
Experience: At least two (2) years of recent and relevant experience in management, technical or business analysis disciplines related to the labor category description.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing program/project status and providing documentation to support program/project is required
