Job Description:

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)

Our client, a dynamic organization in Arlington, VA, is seeking an experienced interim Facilities Manager for a 30-week contract. This role will be hybrid, with a combination of on-site presence and remote work, and will be critical in maintaining smooth and efficient operations during this interim period.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Operations: Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring that building systems function properly and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Security Oversight: Manage security protocols and systems, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Building & Vendor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact with building management, service providers, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and timely service delivery.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage capital improvement projects, office relocations, and renovations, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Logistics & Administration: Oversee office logistics, including space planning, office moves, and administrative coordination.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with expertise in building maintenance, security, and project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities manager to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization.

Contract Length: 30 weeks

Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA)
