Our client, a dynamic organization in Arlington, VA, is seeking an experienced interim Facilities Manager for a 30-week contract. This role will be hybrid, with a combination of on-site presence and remote work, and will be critical in maintaining smooth and efficient operations during this interim period.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Operations: Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring that building systems function properly and issues are addressed promptly.
Security Oversight: Manage security protocols and systems, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.
Building & Vendor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact with building management, service providers, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and timely service delivery.
Project Management: Lead and manage capital improvement projects, office relocations, and renovations, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget.
Logistics & Administration: Oversee office logistics, including space planning, office moves, and administrative coordination.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with expertise in building maintenance, security, and project management.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
