The Senior Manager, McKesson Brands Marketing is responsible for the product marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and sales for the McKesson Brands product portfolio. This role will work closely with several cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Sales, and McKesson Medical Surgical Corporate Marketing to determine the optimal marketing strategy at a brand, category, and product level. This individual will lead a team of product marketing individuals.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to turn complex data, technical product features/benefits into clear customer-centric communications. This role requires a strong ability to influence senior executives and build trust and mutual respect across functions and all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Product Development and Sales to improve product conversion
Develop and implement packaging strategies to improve operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and improve sustainability
Define value proposition for McKesson Brands, in collaboration with enterprise marketing team
Research key product trends within medical device space, supporting product development and commercialization efforts
Determining appropriate product marketing budget across categories and channels
Define key metrics across marketing initiatives to understand ROI and effective marketing mix
Critical Skills
Proven ability to lead a high-performing diverse team in a matrixed environment
Strong analytic skills and the ability to drive data-driven recommendations and decision-making
Experience collaborating with marketing channel owners to influence marketing strategy and tactics
Partner with Product Development, Business Insights, and enterprise Marketing to understand the business and nuances of the customer segments
