Job Description:

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $89,042 -$104.756

Summary:
Performs focused and random independent audits per the Gas Enhanced QA/QC Plan of construction and maintenance related activities related to safety, quality and productivity and assure that operating procedures, materials, policies and procedures are all aligned to prevent future gas safety and quality compliance issues. Interfaces with construction workforce, public and regulatory agencies as required. Prepares and communicates reports for various activities in the department. Participates in team meetings to review findings and corrective actions.


Job Requirements:
Education & Experience Required:


•Minimum 5 years of gas distribution & operations experience.
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Gas Industry Certifications preferred.
•Operator Qualifications- relevant to role.
•Demonstrated understanding of gas utility operations and regulatory requirements.
•Knowledge of Gas Engineering, Construction and Maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements


Skills/Abilities:
•Work independently on assigned activities.
•Participate in implementation of corrective actions.
•Participate in monthly meetings with Inspectors, Supervisors, Managers, Contractors reporting on status of findings and corrective action plans.
•Track trends and make further recommendations on the Enhanced QA/QC Plan.
•Interface and support Operations, Gas Supply, Regulatory Affairs to achieve relevant Company goals.
•Ability to provide inspection and audit services across multiple Operating Companies as an individual's expertise and QC opportunities develop.
•Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
•Ability to follow up and follow through with action items and dependencies.
•Possess the ability to work across organizational lines within the company.
•Flexible and willing to step up to take on tasks beyond a job description as required.
•Ability to manage competing priorities.
