RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares all or part of technical reports.


• Visits project sites and gathers data.


• Works with local governments and planning organizations.


• Analyses social, cultural, physical, and environmental impact of projects.


• Provides written and graphic input for technical memos, feasibility studies, environmental reports, and project status reports.


• Coordinates graphic exhibit preparation and/or other portions of a planning project.


• Coordinates technical work requirements with internal disciplines.


• Provides feedback and answers questions at public meetings.


• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience since Bachelor's or one year since Master's.


• EDUCATION: Bachelors or Masters degree in planning or related field.


• SPECIAL SKILLS:
  
  
  • Technical writing, computer, and communications skills desired.
  
  
  • Experience with GIS, CADD, or other computer based spatial design software is preferred.
