Commercial Insurance Producer (Sales)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and secure new commercial insurance clients to the agency.
  • Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, including application data and loss history.
  • Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance, covering all necessary details.
  • Collaborate with service personnel or marketers for company submissions and market selection.
  • Conduct client and prospect appointments, presenting proposals and renewals effectively.
  • Participate in renewals by reviewing expiration listings and preparing renewal data.
  • Maintain pipeline reports and attend all required sales meetings.
  • Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the community.
  • Stay updated on industry developments through trade press and insurance carrier training.
  • Achieve annual sales objectives as outlined in the producer sales plan.
  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.

Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to pursue and close B2B sales.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable vehicle and legal eligibility to drive to client meetings.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not necessary.
