About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Development Manager (or Director) responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all fundraising for Girls Group. This includes but is not limited to major gifts, annual funds, planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns. The Development Manager will also strategically develop the annual fundraising goals for the organization and oversee the performance of the established fundraising strategy.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain excellent personal and organizational reputations in the community
  • Strategically cultivate relationships with donors and prospective donors in anticipation of soliciting major gifts.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities for grant coordinator. Oversee the workload, performance, and productivity of the coordinator to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Work with the Executive Director to develop and implement the organization's grants strategy, identifying funding needs and setting priorities. Ensure the team's work aligns with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the face of Girls Group at community functions, fundraising events, and networking opportunities, ensuring positive engagement with current and potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Deliver presentations and speeches at events to share the mission, vision, and impact of Girls Group with diverse audiences.
  • Supervise and work with the In-House Graphic Designer to ensure that all materials used at events are aligned with the organization's brand and messaging.
