Job Description:

Job Summary

The overall purpose of this role is to support the service delivery of HCM, ATS and HR systems primarily concentrating on the data accuracy, reporting, integrations, system processes, user acceptance testing, implementations, systems/tools enhancements and day-to-day activities of HRIS. The role assists in the gathering of business requirements and utilizes analytical/business intelligence tools (advanced Excel, Tableau, Python or Jupyter Notebooks) in order to provide analysis and insights for HR client communities such as executive leadership, HR functional areas and other stakeholders. The role will be responsible for managing headcount, executive HR metrics, compliance and workforce reporting. The role ensures that information is being documented and consistently recorded in the HRIS system and related HR systems. This role acts as the functional expert in providing guidance on current system processes and principles.

This role is an integral part of a team that continuously examines and improves HR workflow processes such as driving the transformation of legacy Excel reports to business intelligence platforms including visualization tools such as Tableau.

This individual contributor role reports to the Director, Total Rewards and HRIS and may take direction from HRIS teammates.

Key Responsibilities


  • Administers HCM, ATS and HR systems, which includes evaluation, analysis and maintenance of the Fusion HCM and Taleo to ensure consistency, accuracy and integrity of employee data.

  • Identifies and uses the correct process to follow in adding new records, updating, and terminating existing records based on a specific employment activity (e.g. hiring, rehiring, classification changes, termination, etc.).

  • Delivers, manages and analyzes key HR reports, including, but not limited to, headcount, executive HR metrics, compliance, regulatory and workforce reports via Oracle Analytics, advanced Excel skills and business intelligence tools such as Tableau.

  • Supports scheduled or ad-hoc reports with knowledge of system rules and security protocols.

  • Coordinates projects and tasks and executes related to process analysis, documentation, and use, as well as during technology introductions and upgrades.

  • Builds and sustains internal and external client relationships to ensure that the needs of internal and external clients are met.

  • Interprets and evaluates business rules, departmental processes/practices and recommends improvements that will more efficiently and effectively meet HR client needs.

  • Maintains HRIS intranet content using our Content Management System to provide updates to design and page content when required.

  • May be assigned to special projects as may be required.

Education


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience BS in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science or other analytical degree Req

  • Willing to pursue a PHR certification in Human Resources or other equivalent Pref


Work Experience


  • 2-4 years At least 2 years of analytical experience Req

  • Business experience in HRIS, People Analytics, Analytics or Data Science highly preferred Req


Skills and Requirements


  • Experience with a cloud based HRIS and analytical reporting; Oracle Fusion HCM preferred

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Taleo or ORC ATS preferred

  • Experience with generating reports and presentations utilizing business intelligence/analysis tools; Tableau, Power BI, Python scripts or Jupyter Notebooks preferred

  • Experience with databases and SQL queries preferred

  • Must be technically savvy with proficiency in MS Office Suite especially in advanced Excel (including Vlookup, Pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint presentations and Google suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.)
