Job Description:

Reputable large plaintiff firm is seeking an experienced motions drafting attorney that comes from a civil litigation background and has strong motions experience, specifically MSJ's. The work is highly templated, so the potential candidate will have excellent drafting skills with no grammatical errors, and strong attention to detail. The candidate will also have a strong background drafting motions. This is a temp to hire position. Targeted salary ranges DOE from $120K-$130K with a competitive benefits package!



Structure of the Motion:

• 
  Caption: Include the court name, case title, and case number.


• 
  Introduction: Briefly state what you are asking the court to do.


• 
  Statement of Facts: Provide a clear and concise statement of the relevant facts.


• 
  Argument: Present your legal arguments, supported by statutes, case law, and logical reasoning.


• 
  Conclusion: Summarize your request and urge the court to grant the motion.


• 
  Signature Block: Include your name, contact information, and any necessary certifications.


• 
  Supporting Documents: If applicable, attach affidavits, exhibits, or other documents that support your motion.

  Proofreading: Ensure there are no grammatical errors and that your arguments are clear and coherent.

  Filing and Service: Follow the local court rules for filing the motion and serving it to the other parties involved.
