The Opportunity

• Design, develop, maintain/enhance ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI and Console applications, as well as Windows Services.
• Perform application design, development, unit testing, QA, implementation, and production support.
• Follow development standards and promoting best practices.
• Develop processes, frameworks, build systems, and tools for a variety of contexts.
• Gather functional requirements to generate technical design specifications.

Required Experience and Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar quantitative field required.
• 1.5 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience developing with .NET/MVC frameworks required.
• Natural curiosity and a passion for empirical research and problem solving required.
• SharePoint Intranet Portal development experience preferred.
• Microsoft SharePoint Certification preferred.
• Consultative, collaborative and solution oriented with a strong focus on unmet business needs.
• Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database programming (i.e., SQL Server).
• Familiarity with user interface (UI) programming (i.e., Javascript, HTML, Ajax, CSS).
• Ability to adhere to best practices around writing well-structured, maintainable code in C# and SQL.
• Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, and conduct own time-management to effectively multitask in a complex software environment.
• Ability to tackle challenging software problems in new domains with many complex components.
• Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $25.74 - $32.18, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
