As a Systems Engineer at Liveops, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure.
The Purpose of Your Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our systems, networks, and servers. The Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical requirements, implement best practices, and support the overall technology roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in systems administration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The Qualifications We’re Looking For
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar are preferred.
Proven experience of at least 5 years in systems engineering, systems administration, or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of systems administration, including server administration (Windows and Linux), networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas amidst ambiguity.
Ability to act as the informed captain and lead new initiatives concerning workflows and support.
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, such as Active Directory, DNS, DCHP, and Group Policy.
Thorough knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, and familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
Thorough knowledge of Identity and Access Management services, such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta.
General knowledge of monitoring and performance tools.
