Wrap Connections is a program designed to support youth and families using a high fidelity model that is family centered, culturally/linguistically responsive and community based.
The Wrap team works with families to learn effective tools and strategies to help create sustainable stability and progress in the home, school, and community, utilizing a comprehensive strength based approach. Our program offers a myriad of services and support including behavioral and mental health assessment and interventions as well as medication and psychiatric support. Participants include the child, youth and their family; a Care Coordinator, Behavior Counselor, and Parent/Youth Partner, school personnel, other service providers, and/or other family designates.
Wrap Connections is provided through a contract with San Diego County Behavioral Health Services (BHS). It is a high fidelity, intensive program consisting of meetings several times a week. Families indicate their preference for location of services, such as in the home, community or at a Fred Finch office.

What You Will Do
The Care Coordinator/Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing clinical assessment (i.e., diagnosis, behavioral health assessments, client plan and progress notes) through a trauma-informed lens, therapeutic based services, and case management to a diverse population of at-risk youth, young adults, and families.
Shifts Available
Full Time - afternoon and evenings required. Work remotely with clinical services provided in the community, office and telehealth settings.
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $33.03 and $42.15 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):
Education:
Mental Health Therapist I-II: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field; and

Mental Health Therapist I: One (1) year of internship experience providing mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young adults.
Mental Health Therapist II: Two (2) years of post-master's experience providing professional mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young adults.

Licenses and Certifications:

Possession of a valid California Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle, to be maintained throughout employment.
Mental Health Therapist I: Possession of a valid registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), to be maintained throughout employment. Some programs may consider candidates who are able to obtain registered status within the first six (6) months after hire.
Mental Health Therapist II: Possession of valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), to be maintained throughout employment.
