Are you a project management pro with a passion for events, data, and building strong business relationships? As the Engagement Success Project Lead for the Meeting + Event Solutions team, you’ll be at the forefront of managing high-impact events and projects, from concept to completion. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, control timelines, deliverables, and ensure flawless execution that meets strategic goals. Data will be central to your role – you'll monitor important data points, analyze performance, and use insights to improve processes and promote ongoing improvement. Your expertise in project management and application management will help you optimize processes and streamline workflows, while your business relationship management skills will ensure strong collaboration with partners and stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities:


  • Project management: for complex events, assesses stakeholder needs and priorities, documents business requirements, establishes work plan, and provides leadership and vision to cross-functional projects that may require integration with activities in and outside the team’s scope.

  • Business process mapping: applies analytical thinking and UX design principles to identify and document workflows and processes for complex events and cross-team collaboration on other projects. The goal is to deliver streamlined, end-to-end, balanced, and scalable solutions.

  • Strategic planning: for the overall Engagement Solutions business, develops performance measures and benchmarks to identify improvements and achieve higher maturity in engagement strategies.

  • Application management: interfaces with a variety of local and national IT services to identify, implement, and manage applications that support team effectiveness including the identification, deployment, and configuration of applications.

  • Relationship management: establishes trusted advisor relationship with business partners, liaises with district and system peers, and clients to strengthen partnerships and improves results.

  • Communications and change management: proactively communicate changes and produces and provides user-centric support materials to foster adoption of new services and resources.

  • Maintains a deep understanding of all team products and services.

  • Manages multiple processes/products.

  • Utilize data analytics to track key performance metrics, analyze event outcomes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement and decision-making across projects.

  • Develop comprehensive reports using data insights to present to all levels of leadership, providing clear analysis on event performance, project progress, and recommendations for strategic improvements.

  • Delivers training and support to drive adoption of products and services.

  • Contract management, including scope and cost, negotiations, and term and schedule compliance.

  • Stays abreast of technology advancements and industry trends to inform service delivery improvements, efficiencies, and innovation.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Five (5) or more years of project support and one (1) or more years managing complex initiatives.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Process Improvement (BPI) and/or other related certifications and experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in consulting, interpreting business partner needs, engagement management, resource management and vendor management.

  • A creative mind that challenges the status quo and fosters unique solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal communications skills and relationship management experience.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources.

  • Positive and proactive self-starter and collaborator who can manage and prioritize competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Desired/Preferred

  • System administrative experience with event technology (examples, Cvent, EMS (reservation management), Kahoot and Slido) and project management tools (ex. Asana).

Base Salary Range: Min: $78,200 - Mid: $101,700 - Max: $124,900 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data
