Job Description:

Bowen, Miclette & Britt Insurance Agency, LLC (BMB) is seeking to add a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts from our office in Maitland, Florida.

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will respond to client calls about policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on policy changes and risk management concerns. This position will be responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service working closely with the assigned Account Executive/Producers. They will also work closely with the Senior Commercial Account Manager on larger accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of all types of industries such as Contractors, O&G, Mfg, Hospitality, Habitational, etc. (Generalist).
  • Ability to Market/Quote new business and account renewals obtaining competitive coverage/cost ratios for the client.
  • Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
  • Experience with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating portals
  • Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing small to medium commercial accounts
  • Property and Casualty license
  • CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designations are desirable but not required.
  • Sagitta Agency Management software experience preferred, but not required.
  • Paperless Environment (ImageRight)
  • Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
